Project Office PROFF32
The PROFF32 program is designed for the small to medium business operating in a project environment. This project management application fills a gap in the market for a cost effective project
administration program for users that do not have the turnover or manpower to implement large project systems. The main aim is to assist management and project leaders to keep track of all cost aspects on a job.
Added to all job information managed by the program is management of inventory, quotations and staff time. PROFF32 is not intended to replace an accounting program, but
valuable information and reports generated by the program assist users with the accounting tasks. Project Office is another product developed by AvData
for the bussiness community. Avdex started to develop applications for the specialised aviation industry and our flagship application AMO
has been refined since 1985 and is used widely used by aircraft maintenance companies to handle all the strict administration requirements set for this
industry. The success with AMO this cost effective application and the demand for a medium size project management application prompted us to develop PROFF32.
Development input was obtained from various project managers and managers of medium size businesses to put together a generic application that can be used by a large section of
business. This has resulted in an application where data flows in a logical fashion and that takes care of most processes normally done by hand or separate spread sheets. The main
advantages to users are online control and time saving when information needs to be compiled. The most popular reports for managers are amongst others the cash flow
predictions, stock levels, work in progress, job status and profitability. PROFF32 is developed in Visual Objects, an event driven application chosen for its
stability, speed and cost effective solution to the users. The application is licensed to
users on a maintenance contract basis with continues support and development available to users. |
