New Schedule

Enter a new schedule name from the 'Schedule' selection under 'File' on the main task bar. Add a new schedule name by pressing the blue page on the button bar and entering the name. The name needs to be entered prior to creating the schedule data. Components may be linked to the schedule from this window by pressing the 'Component' icon.

Creating a Schedule

Open the 'Schedule' window from 'Schedule' on the main  task bar. In the 'Master Schedule' window click on the 'Schedule' drop down box. Select the schedule to create or edit. It is suggested that an entry be made called 'last line'. This creates for the program an initial line to work up from. Press the 'New' button and add the item description to the highlighted field. The field will initially read 'New item: ID *** '. Overwrite this with the desired description.  When the description has been entered tab to the 'Default Part Number' field. Enter a number or description as desired. If the item is a heading, press 'Heading' from 'Item Type'. Headings may be used to separate maintenance functions such as 'Routine Maintenance', 'Special', 'Bulletins', 'Airworthiness Directives', '5 Year', '5000 Hour' etc. This will blank out all other selections as headings have no actions. Press the 'Refresh' button. All the fields will be updated.

Highlight the item below the position the next item is to be entered and press 'New'. Insert the 'Description', 'Default Part Number', 'Item type' and 'Item action' for successive maintenance actions.  Use duplicate lines for items requiring flying hours as well as calender time for compliance.  Errors may be edited by highlighting the item and tabbing to the field with the error. To move an item up or down in the schedule, simply highlight the item, press 'Move' and highlight the item below the proposed position. Press 'Go'. For Airworthiness Directives and Bulletins use the 'Item' description for the number and the 'Default Part Number' for the description.

To use data from an existing schedule highlight the item below the point of insertion, press 'Insert' and select the Schedule from the 'Select Schedule' drop down box. Highlight the item or items to copy.  Multiples may be selected by pressing the 'CTRL' key and high lighting the next required item. Entire sections may be selected by high lighting the upper item, pressing 'SHIFT' and using the mouse pointer to high light the last item. This will include all items between the first and last selections. Press 'Insert' . The items highlighted will be placed in the new schedule above the highlighted item. This is especially useful in creating schedules for similar components where many items are the same but warrant a new schedule name. (Ie: Lear 24, Lear 25, Baron 55, Baron 58 etc).

Use the 'Task List' to detail requirements for the selected item. One such suggestion is to copy and paste from an Airworthiness Directive program the compliance and effectivity to the 'Task List' for quick reference. This 'Task List' can be included in the schedule print out.

A typical schedule is attached for reference.

A print out of the schedule can be made with or with out the task list for ease of checking a component status.
