Tutorials

Tutorials are an easy way to learn the different program aspects, by following the instructions as shown on your screen.  You can select the different tutorials and work through them at your own pace.  The following tutorials are currently available:

Getting Started

The Status program is put together by linking a couple of simple building blocks.  The concepts and principals can however be confusing to a first time user.  Work through these sessions to get an understanding for each building block and how it fits into the bigger structure.

Component

All maintenance scheduling are linked to components.  This tutorial shows how to link owner, aircraft and component to a specific schedule.

Schedule

Schedules are lists of maintenance items to be carried out on different comonent types.  Go through this tutorial to create and edit these schedules.

Item Status

The status of each component items will show which items are due or will be due shortly.  Recent maintenance information must be provided to act as a base line for calculation of the expected due date.

SQL Configuration

Overview of the data storage requirements of Status.  Explains the Connection to a SQL server and how the data is converted from older dBase systems
