Purchase Order Notes and Notification

Overview

Avdex added new functionality to the purchase order notification system.  This includes an internal note field linked to the purchase order.  This note field remains editable after authorization of the purchase order.

Functionality

Email notification of the purchase order authorisation event is now also copied to the originator of the purchase order.

The internal note field is located between the main order window and the child window.  The field is always editable and changes to the field must be saved.  The note field can only be edited by users belonging to the purchase order edit role.  Changes to the internal note is emailed to the author of the note, originator of the purchase order and person that authorized the purchase order.

The internal note field is now also visible on the various purchase order summary reports, but not visible on the supplier copy.
